Mainsail Training was established in 2001 as a result of the demand in the electrical industry for bespoke training in the electrical installation field and to cater for contractors in the North West who wished to take intensive two or three day courses as an alternative to attending their training through evening classes. As part of David J Tinsley Consultancy David personally continues to either deliver training, or overseas all instruction on every course run under the banner of Mainsail Training.

All courses are run in an exclusive and dedicated training suite on the 2nd floor at The Liverpool Marina in Mariners Wharf, adjacent to the Albert Dock in Liverpool City Centre, thus offering excellent facilities, catering, parking and links with all major rail and road networks in the North West.

As there are frequent changes and amendments to regulations in the building services field, Mainsail prides itself on being foremost in responding to these variations within their training programs. The results achieved by candidates sitting in the City & Guilds exams relating to these courses speaks volumes for the quality & excellence within the training offered, while an emphasis is maintained on remaining relaxed in the delivery & approach to the hard work needed to attain these qualifications.

David J Tinsley Consultancy is also a leading Electrical Testing Company in the North West, with many significant commercial, local council, medical trust and tourism contracts maintained on an annual basis. As a UK registered test engineer, once again David maintains a strong influence and restraint within the management of this leg of the company, ensuring that all test engineers representing DJT Consultancy are not only C&G 2391 &/or 2400 qualified, but follow further guidelines and training administered in-house to ensure a preeminent level of performance & safety in the field at all times.
